Council-owned Auckland Unlimited is keeping a dispute over the design of one of the super city’s main performance venues under wraps.The dispute happened during the $66.8 million refurbishment of the Aotea Centre which can hold 2,000.The council body (a new amalgamation of Regional Facilities Auckland and ATEED) disclosed the claim against “a consultant for the Aotea Centre development project for design faults,” in its accounts for the 12 months to June 2020.However, when approached this week it would not give further detail,...
