Gas is a fuel of choice for many homes and businesses and its long-term replacement will have to be carefully worked through, power and gas distributor Vector says.Customers wanting gas in the new homes being built across Auckland are unlikely to be put off by the Climate Change Commission’s proposal to halt new pipeline and bottled connections by 2025, Vector chief executive Simon Mackenzie said.
