Engineering consultancy Tonkin and Taylor has appointed Vanessa Stoddart as the firm’s new board chair.Stoddard currently sits as a director on the boards of Channel Infrastructure Waste Management and forestry company OneFortyOne.She was also a member of the Health New Zealand board under the then stewardship of Rob Campbell.Before moving into governance, Stoddart was Air NZ’s head of engineering and human resources and Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Australia’s chief executive.
