Vital Healthcare Property Trust isn't entirely immune from covid-19 but, as its manager pointed out in releasing the trust's annual results, its properties are very defensive assets in an environment as uncertain as the pandemic has created. With a rent roll of $100.1 million in the year ended June, the trust has foregone collecting just $300,000 from tenants whose businesses were impacted by the New Zealand and Australian governments' response to the pandemic.
