Watchdog raises red flag on $6b light rail 'process'

Auditor-General John Ryan is questioning the procurement process for Auckland’s troubled $6 billion light rail project and hinted a full inquiry is still possible.The watchdog's concerns centre around the ‘parallel process’ to select a delivery partner for the city-to-Māngere rail line, based on just two competing proposals.
