Foreign Minister Winston Peters could meet representatives of shipyard Hyundai Mipo during his visit to South Korea, BusinessDesk understands.KiwiRail has been in protracted exit negotiations with Hyundai since early last year when the state-owned rail and ferry operator announced it was withdrawing from a $551 million contract with the shipyard to build two 220-metre rail-enabled ferries.It has yet to disclose the break fees associated with the contract, but it’s been speculated that the costs will likely be in the hundreds of millions o...
