IOD head, William Whitaker, dies suddenly

The IOD website says Whitaker, who was appointed to the role in January, passed away on Nov. 30. No further detail has been released. Whitaker was credited with bringing new energy to the institute, which seeks to represent the interests and training needs of company and non-profit organisation directors. (BusinessDesk)
