Kernel expands platform with S&P 500 shares and ETFs, but won't offer 'the entire universe'

Investment platform Kernel Wealth is adding shares and exchange-traded funds – but only about 500 shares will be available, and users won’t be able to day trade. Kernel, which has about $1.7 billion of funds under management (FUM), will open access on Tuesday to shares in the S&P 500 and more than 300 exchange-traded funds (ETFS). The index fund manager’s customers will see everything in NZD and will incur foreign exchange fees, which depend on the subscription plan they are on.Kernel’s chief customer offic...
