Craigs Investment Partners has acquired Hawke’s Bay wealth-management firm Somerset Smith Partners and flagged potential for further expansion.The deal expanded Craigs’ advisory network to more than 200 investment advisers across 21 locations, with more than $35 billion in funds under management.Craigs’ chief executive Simon Tong said the deal, for which no details were disclosed, aligned with that growth-minded firm’s strategy, both nationally and regionally.“We have set ourselves ambitious growth targets and M&am...
