By Tina Morrison May 1 (BusinessDesk) - King Country Energy, the biggest electricity retailer in the region, is pushing ahead with plans to move its listing to the NZX from the Unlisted platform, saying new rules could force the Unlisted market to close. Shareholders in the Taumarunui-based energy company agreed unanimously at a meeting yesterday to take initial steps to prepare for an NZX listing, including the adoption of a new constitution, the company said in a statement.
