NZME Advisory, a subsidary of NZME, has been fined nearly $90,000 for supplying unsafe toys from a former business which ended in one child requiring "significant" surgery.The toys, sold on the dual-listed media company’s previously owned online store GrabOne.co.nz, were made up of small, high-powered magnetic balls.They were supplied between October 2020 and September 2021 in breach of an unsafe goods notice that bans the supply of any magnets, sold in sets of two or more, that are a particular size and strength. Commerce...
