The life of the Resource Management Act fast track consent process is to be extended with the government saying it is necessary due to the uncertain economic conditions caused by covid.The Covid-19 Response (Management Measures) Legislation Bill introduced into parliament on Tuesday changes the statutory deadlines for a wide range of reports and other matters.It also extends the life of the Covid-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act by moving the current repeal date of July 8 2022 to July 8 2023 to “assist economic development while un...
