Firms and directors can expect more regulatory legal activity this year, MinterEllisonRuddWatts says in its litigation forecast published today.The corporate law firm says that alongside litigation stemming from covid-19 issues, regulators such as the Financial Markets Authority, WorkSafe, the Privacy Commissioner and the Commerce Commission are expected to be more active.The report notes an increase in class actions is driving up directors' and officers’ liability insurance.Minters also notes that criminal sanctions for cartel conduc...
