A supreme court decision that paves the way for a Korean-born New Zealand citizen to be extradited to China to face murder charges has sparked global concern it sets a worrying precedent. “We believe that this decision has wider implications for the security and wellbeing of diasporic groups suffering persecution by the People’s Republic of China (PRC),” said the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China in a letter to prime minister Jacinda Ardern, foreign minister Nanaia Mahuta and justice minister Kris Faafoi.According to...
