A trio of judges has found liquidator Victoria Toon was wrongly criticised for overcharging after she got caught in a family dispute.The court of appeal said Associate Judge Roger Bell came to “unwarranted conclusions” in April 2020 when he ruled Toon charged too much in the liquidation of family-held company Investacorp Holdings.The associate judge said while her rates weren’t too high, she had investigated claims she didn’t need to in the liquidation which drove up the bill.
