A trio of judges has found liquidator Victoria Toon was wrongly criticised for overcharging after she got caught in a family dispute.The court of appeal said Associate Judge Roger Bell came to “unwarranted conclusions” in April 2020 when he ruled Toon charged too much in the liquidation of family-held company Investacorp Holdings.The associate judge said while her rates weren’t too high, she had investigated claims she didn’t need to in the liquidation which drove up the bill. Toon told BusinessDesk the decision had...
