An ecosystem regeneration project that has diversified into skincare has failed in its attempt to void the trademark of a company that bears the same name. An Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) decision published late last year showed Tahi Estate applied to invalidate the trademark of Tahi Oils, a small skincare firm based in Karamea, on the West Coast.
