Air NZ reviewing capital structure, yet to draw on govt lifeline

Air New Zealand said it is still reviewing its capital structure after an Australian media report prompted the national carrier to keep investors abreast of its plans, which may include hitting up the market for money.  The Australian Financial Review's Street Talk column today reported the airline had hired bankers and advisers to help it work out its funding options, "increasing the likelihood of an equity-led recapitalisation that would ask institutional investors on both sides of the Tasman to play a leading role,” the AFR said.
