NZME announces new dividend policy on covid bounceback

Auckland news publisher NZME is expecting better operating earnings than previously forecast and outlined the terms of a return to dividend payments in the second half of next year.The announcement comes ahead of an investor day next Monday, Nov. 16, at the end of a year in which the company has plumbed the depths of the covid-19 crisis, cut costs and debt, lost a chairman, gained a new major shareholder, and is showing signs of resilience.NZME expects to report earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of between $63 million...
