Lockdown sees power demand drop to three-month low

Electricity demand has fallen to a three-month low as the country’s covid-19 lockdown shutters offices and factories nationwide.Power use fell to 93.86 gigawatt-hours yesterday, according to Electricity Authority data, 14 percent less than Thursday last week.
