The New Zealand Super Fund’s active investments have banked $20 billion more than a passive investment strategy across 20 years. The fund announced its annual result on Monday morning, generating a pre-tax return of 11.84% after costs for the year to June 30.The fund increased in value by $8.4b to be worth $85.1b at year's end. In the previous year, the fund returned 14.90% pre-tax, but after costs, the value of the fund rose $65.4b to $76.6b. Chief executive Jo Townsend said while the fund had benef...
