Early shareholders of Sharesies have withdrawn $20 million in cash from the business in a $30m capital raise that the company says has been mischaracterised as a Series D round.The capital raising, advertised by shareholder Icehouse Ventures in promotional materials as a Series D, initially sought $20m, was expected to raise $25m, and ultimately attracted $30m.The share sale is the first liquidity event for shareholders that the company has formally facilitated since its founding in 2017.It valued Sharesies shares at $205 apiece, or $750m...
