Energy Minister Simon Watts says he is overseeing the deindustrialisation of the economy and a sector going backward in terms of energy security and affordability, and this must be reversed.At the Downstream conference in Christchurch, Watts told sector leaders they could not afford a repeat of last winter’s energy crisis and if it did happen again, he would likely be out of a job.He will soon release a list of possible interventions ahead of a ministerial review as the country heads into winter.“All options are on the table,”...
