The sale of Fletcher Building’s construction assets could come down to one key question: who takes on the liabilities? On July 27, managing director Andrew Reding officially put the building conglomerate’s construction assets on the market after receiving inbound inquiries. The building firm had previously said it was looking for a partner for its residential arm, but nothing happened. This time around, perhaps in a concrete sign of a new guard atop Fletcher, it won’t be investment bank Jarden testing the waters...
