Payroll fintech PaySauce has boosted customer numbers by 9%, but lower wholesale interest rates hampered its financial performance as it posted a $227,000 after-tax profit for the six months to Sept 30. PaySauce’s processing fee income rose 15% to $3.5 million for the period but interest income fell 21% to $967,000 compared to the prior comparable period due to falls in the Official Cash Rate (OCR) and the market’s perception of further future cuts, the company said on Monday. The payroll software provider said r...
