High labour costs hit Green Cross Health profit

Primary healthcare company Green Cross Health has reported a 69% fall in net profit for the 2024 year, citing rising costs and relatively flat funding levels.The group recorded a net profit of $15.6 million for the year ending March 31, 2024, compared with $50.5m for the 2023 year.Of that, $11.8m was attributable to its shareholders and $3.8m to its non-controlling interests.Net profit from continuing operations was $15.8m compared with $20.3m for the 2023 year.Green Cross owns the Unichem and Life Pharmacy chains and The Doctors medi...
