High-tech manufacturer Rakon has revealed it had more than one interested buyer for its business. In an update to the NZX on Monday, Rakon announced chair Lorraine Witten will retire at its annual meeting later this year.Rakon said it had completed a review of its global customer relationships and had discontinued commercial relationships with a Chinese telecommunications-infrastructure customer as a result. This customer accounted for about 5% of revenue in the 2025 financial year, Rakon said.Rakon said it had also “enhanced&rd...
