Infratil shares fell sharply following the announcement of an operating earnings result that was towards the top end of the guidance range, but which masked a turnaround in net parent surplus of more than $1 billion to report a loss for the year to March 31 of $286.3 million.On the same metric, Infratil earned a net parent surplus of $761.4m in the 2024 financial year.The latest result was largely driven by negative returns from realisations and revaluations totalling $180.3m, compared with a $942.3m uplift in the previous financial year.That w...
