Investors may be cheered as Italian virus cases slow

A smaller number of new covid-19 cases in Italy may put local investors in an optimistic mood today, following a positive lead on Wall Street, where markets remain buoyed by a massive stimulus programme.  There were 4,050 new infections in Italy in the past 24 hours, down from 5,217 the prior day, Bloomberg reported.
