Jade Software to acquire Contec Group in revenue-boosting deal

Tech company Jade Software is acquiring Contec Group International for an undisclosed sum, in a deal expected to boost Jade’s annual revenue by 20–25%.The Christchurch-based companies have entered into an agreement, with settlement expected on Nov. 28.Jade is owned by British-based Skipton Investments, while Contec is 50% New Zealand-owned and 50% owned by Hong Kong business E-Wise International.The acquisition adds Contec’s dairy supply-chain management software, Madcap, to Jade’s portfolio.Madcap supports six of the wo...
