A majority of Jarden Group shareholders voted in favour of selling its wealth and asset management business to form a new entity with NAB called FirstCape.The deal, announced in December, will see Jarden take a 20% stake in FirstCape, bringing together NAB’s JBWere NZ and BNZ Investment Services Ltd.Incoming FirstCape chief executive Malcolm Jackson said Wednesday’s majority vote demonstrated that shareholders recognised the deal's value.The new entity would have a combined 113 advisers, $29 billion of funds under advice and adm...
