Most market participants believe the last carbon auction of the year on Wednesday will partially clear.The question is how much interest there will be in the 11,125,700 New Zealand Units, which are a proxy for a tonne of carbon, on offer at the auction floor price of $64.More NZUs could be sold but the trigger price is so high that there is a near-zero chance of it happening.The offering of 11 million units is higher than usual because the past two auctions failed to clear and the March auction only partially cleared.
