Mainfreight has reported a provisional half-yearly drop in before-tax profit on slightly higher revenues against challenging geopolitical events.The six-monthly market update to Sept 30 2024 was first presented at an investor day at Northlake Texas on Oct 7 and is an estimate ahead of Mainfreight’s half-year results for the period, which will be released on Nov 13. Provisional profit before tax for the company for the half year was $158.5m, compared with $174.8m for the same period last year. Mainfreight’s provisional reve...
