Local investors will be tentative after muted trading on Wall Street as the US Federal Reserve's upcoming policy review promises to reinforce the low-rate message. Meanwhile, the New Zealand government's big reveal of its fiscal position ahead of next month's election is expected to show the immediate hit to the economy wasn't as bad as feared, although climbing out of the hole will be a tougher slog.
