NZ sharemarket drops as US market rallies as Auckland Airport shares stall

The New Zealand sharemarket has dropped more than 1% on Wednesday, despite US markets continuing with a post-Liberation Day rally.The S&P/NZX 50 Index closed down 1.02% or 122.14 points, falling to 11,903.31. A total of 95,922,264 shares changed hands, worth $301.98 million.The S&P/NZX20 index closed at 7,031.39, down 1.24%, while the S&P/NZX10 index closed at 1,797.63, down 1.12%.There were 55 gainers and 74 decliners on the main board.Airport shares sufferAuckland Airport shares have continued to trend down following its announcem...
