The New Zealand dollar continued to climb as a wave of optimism about the prospects for a covid-19 vaccine swept the financial world. The kiwi was trading at 60.45 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 59.50 cents at the same time yesterday. The trade-weighted index was at 68.32 from 67.55.
