Wall Street returned to some normality, the New Zealand sharemarket had a rise after a rocky session, and Australian inflation was lower, paving the way for an interest rate cut there.The S&P/NZX 50 Index was up and down all day before having a late spurt and closed at 13,003.04, up 45.89 points or 0.35%. The index reached an intraday low of 12,941.33 points.Volumes were steady with 30.85 million shares worth $102.7m changing hands.'More information'Mark Lister, investment director with Craigs Investment Partners, said the loca...
