Rather than thrive, the New Zealand dollar will be looking to survive in 2025.  That said, it may well be a tale of two halves, with some pickup toward the end of next year.  “Interest rate differentials are working against the kiwi and will continue to do so well into 2025,” Kiwibank chief economist Jarrod Kerr said.  The Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) “will cut another 50bp cut in February, and another 25bp in either April or May”. “That’s fine.
