Stock exchange operator NZX said it expects 2020 operating earnings to land at about $33.5 million, the high end of its guidance range, as the covid-crisis has driven demand in public markets.The pandemic-era economic environment had highlighted the value of the public markets as companies sought capital to shore up balance sheets and fuel growth, the company said in a statement.The firm's 2019 operating earnings were up 9.8 percent at $31.4 million.
