A new company set up by Vista shareholder Potentia is not a takeover vehicle for the New Zealand-listed tech company, the Australian investor says. Potentia founder Andrew Gray, investment director Amit Chand and its NZ leader, Lachlan Hughes, formed a new company on Oct 16, which had tongues wagging that it was part of Potentia’s Vista plans. However, Potentia said the company, Sandpit Bidco, was not for Vista. “Potentia has no intention of making a control bid for Vista Group.” Potentia took a cornerstone...
