Xero investors, uneasy about high United States-style remuneration packages among its top executives, have fired a 'first shot' of discontent at directors willing to pay big for talent.At Xero’s annual meeting on Thursday, almost half of the shareholders who voted rejected adopting the company's remuneration report, which was issued with its 2025-year results.The advisory vote – 62.97 million votes (51.26%) for, 59.87m against (48.74%) and 47,653 abstained – represented a stiff rebuke over remuneration.It neither b...
