Rules governing potentially anti-competitive collusion by small businesses, in particular New Zealand markets, will be relaxed as part of a package of reforms to the Commerce Act.Commerce Minister Scott Simpson gave an outline of the amendments in a speech to the Competition Law and Policy Institute of NZ and confirmed the Cabinet is considering recommendations from a long-expected review of the Commerce Commission.With details to be released in the coming weeks, the act changes would “better support beneficial collaboration”.&ldquo...
