Scott Technology has extended its contract with Rio Tinto, increasing the automation of a third laboratory for the mining giant in Australia.Scott, a New Zealand Exchange-listed industrial automation company, did not provide details on the value of the contract but said the system includes two Rio 350 crushers and three ABM (automatic batch mill) 3,000 pulverisers, designed to process up to 700 samples per day.The deal is with Scott’s Rocklabs brand, which specialises in minerals sample processing automation and made up more than 17% of t...
