Simplicity late to file accounts due to auditor shortage

KiwiSaver provider Simplicity is late to file its audited financial statements, for a second time, and is relying on an extension from the Financial Markets Authority to meet statutory requirements.The fund manager's accounts were also late last October due to a problem logging into the Companies Office website via RealMe.This time the trouble is a nationwide auditor shortage, which has prompted the FMA to offer a blanket extension for certain reporting requirements.“We understand the New Zealand audit industry usually depends on sour...
