A rival bidder for Tilt Renewables appears to have emerged at the eleventh hour and the stock has gone into a trading halt pending an announcement.The Infratil-owned clean energy company requested a trading halt prior to market open this morning until it could update the market on “whether Tilt has secured a superior scheme of arrangement for shareholders”.One month ago, Infratil announced it was selling its 65.6% shareholding to Sydney-based PowAR and Mercury NZ – which already owns a fifth of Tilt.Mercury NZ declined to comm...
