Video game exporters on track for $1bn revenue in 2025

The burgeoning Kiwi video game industry has doubled its revenue in the last two years, but said it needs government support to become a billion-dollar exporter.  An independent survey of 39 interactive media companies showed Kiwi game developers earned $203.4 million dollars during the 2019 financial year, a notable jump from $143 million earned the year prior and double the $99.9 million in 2017.
