Xero boss Sukhinder Singh Cassidy says she took a long-term bet on Xero by choosing to be its chief executive. She joined ASX-listed Xero in November 2022 and hit the ground running. Singh Cassidy announced “painful” job cuts in early 2023, laid out an across-the-business strategy to target users’ three most important jobs in its three largest markets, revamped and repriced its plans, decided to cull idle subscriptions and in June of this year sealed Xero’s largest ever acquisition of bill payment platform...
