Outdoor advertising has felt the full force of nationwide lockdown restrictions, with audience reach down by two thirds in Auckland, according to an industry trade body.Out of Home Media Association Aotearoa (OOHMAA) says reach is down by 62% in Auckland, 52% in Wellington, and 68% in Christchurch, based on Landmarks ID data for the week commencing August 23. According to Auckland Transport data, the volume of cars on the road is at 29% of normal levels, heaping more pressure on outdoor advertisers.
