Filmmaking Wellington power couple Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh’s visual effects and animation outfit Wētā FX has made a loss for two years running.In annual earnings lodged with the Companies Office on Friday, Wētā FX made a total comprehensive loss of $82.1 million in the year to the end of March.Because the company reduced the cost of sales by 16% to $295m, Wētā FX losses improved from $106m in 2023 despite a 1.6% fall in revenue. Revenue fell by 13.5% in NZ to $320m, while income gener...
