Young Kiwis switch to Netflix

Young New Zealanders are increasingly ditching television for online video and streaming platforms, according to a new NZ on Air survey. The Crown entity’s latest report, Where Are the Audiences?, reveals a generational split in screen habits. In the 15-39 age group, 82% said they used online video platforms daily. Roughly 68% used subscription video-on-demand services every day, while 35% watched television daily.For 40-59 year-olds, TV remains the dominant platform, with 61% tuning in every day.
