Wellington Chamber of Commerce chief executive John Milford will step down from the role at the end of November after six years as the primary lobbyist for capital businesses.Taking over the reins in 2014 after eight years in charge of Kirkcaldie & Stain’s, Milford said he stayed on a little longer to support the response to the covid-19 pandemic, which saw the nation locked down in an effort to contain the virus.Milford said he has no set plans on what to do next, but will continue to contribute to the community in some way.
